Legendary cocktails.
BLOODY MARY
2 oz Blue Ox Vodka
6-8 oz tomato juice
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2-3 dashes hot sauce
A pinch of salt and black pepper
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish as desired.
SCREWDRIVER
2 oz Blue Ox Vodka
6-8 oz orange juice
orange slice or twist for garnish
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add vodka, orange juice, and stir. Garnish with an orange slice or a twist of orange peel.
VODKA ESPRESSO SHOT
1 oz Blue Ox Vodka
1 oz freshly brewed espresso
(or strong coffee), cooled
1/2 oz coffee liqueur
In a mixing glass, combine vodka and freshly brewed espresso. If desired, add a few ice cubes to chill. Stir until well mixed. Strain into a shot glass or a small rocks glass.
CRANBERRY COCKTAIL
1-1/2 oz Blue Ox Vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
4-6 oz cranberry juice
lime wedge
Mix ingredients cocktail shaker over ice until chilled. Strain into a glass filled with ice, cranberries, and a slice of lime.
SPOOKY MARTINI
2 oz Blue Ox Vodka
1/2 oz melon liqueur
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz lemon juice
Chill a martini glass. In a shaker, combine vodka, melon liqueur, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Fill with ice, shake, and strain into the chilled glass. Garnish with two olives for a halloween twist.
RASPBERRY SMASH
2 oz Blue Ox Gin
2 tsp lime juice
2-4 oz club soda (or sparkling water)
1/2 oz simple syrup
6-8 fresh raspberries
Muddle the raspberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the gin, soda, lime juice and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a small glass filled with ice.
MOJITO
2 oz Blue Ox Silver Rum
1 oz fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons sugar
6-8 fresh mint leaves
club soda
In a glass, muddle together the mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar. Fill the glass with ice. Add the rum, and top off with club soda. Stir. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge.
NEGRONI
1 oz Blue Ox Gin
1 oz sweet vermouth
1 oz Campari
orange twist, for garnish
To prepare the Negroni, fill a mixing glass with ice and add the gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. Stir well until chilled. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
CUBA LIBRE
2 oz Blue Ox Silver Rum
4-6 oz cola
1/2 oz lime juice
lime wedge, for garnish
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add rum. Squeeze the juice of half a lime directly into the glass, and top with cola. Stir gently and garnish with a lime wedge.
